Priorities
Keep Troy Safe

Invest in Public Services
My top priority will always be ensuring that our proud Troy Police, Fire, and EMS departments remain well-trained, well-supported, and community-centered.
As a mom of an epileptic child, decreasing EMS wait times is a must. Troy EMS response times average 10 minutes from dispatch to arrival. Neighboring communities have qualified EMS on scene within five minutes or less. When every second counts, we must do more to ensure our tax dollars are working for us.
Supporting Troy’s first responders with the tools, training and resources to do their job safely matters. Troy’s growing Police Department has sworn in 10 percent more officers over the past five years. Whether it is robust professional development, body cameras, or new trucks and training for our Fire Department, we must maintain our position as a Safe City and Top 10 Place to Live.

Transparent, Accessible, Accountable Leadership
The decisions in front of council will shape Troy for generations to come. We are at an incredibly important time in Troy’s history.
Prioritizing the right issues requires honest conversations, strong leadership and a steady vision for the future.
Increasing accountability, accessibility and transparency builds trust. My approach to leadership includes having robust conversations before, during and after key decisions to keep Troy working for you.
Keep Troy Growing

Invest in Troy
Attracting and retaining world-class businesses and neighbors requires a balanced approach to spending our hard-earned tax dollars on much-needed infrastructure improvements. From better drains to fixing roads, I'll ensure Troy's zoning policies and services evolve together in a fiscally responsible way - while maintaining our AAA credit rating.
Breathing new life into underutilized commercial buildings and transforming them into new homes, parks and businesses will bring more homes to Troy without compromising our limited green space.

Accelerate Small Business and Tech Growth
As a seasoned business leader, I possess the right blend of expertise and relationships to bring key economic development programs that support entrepreneurs and create good-paying jobs in Troy.
I envision a tech incubator offering resources and training to new businesses that commit to launching in Troy. This would help convert outdated commercial spaces into headquarters and advanced manufacturing hubs, benefiting both residents and the local economy.
My experience in bringing schools, small businesses, large businesses, and foundations together to accelerate STEM job growth will increase tech entrepreneurship in Troy. From encouraging trade programs in K-12 to connecting robotics teams with innovative companies, I'll ensure Troy is the best destination to live, work, and play.
Keep Troy Together

Vibrant, Unique Community
For 70 years, Troy has stood as a powerful example of what happens when a community cares for one another.
From the ground up, we built a vibrant and safe city where people of every background can thrive. As a long-time Troy resident and mom raising kids who attend Troy Schools, I know how unique our community is.
Our shared values are my north star: Respect, lifelong learning, looking out for one another. I'll ensure we never lose sight of what makes Troy special.

Expand and Grow City Green Space
It's simple. We want more sidewalks, trails, and parks to enjoy with friends and family.
Connecting and protecting our neighborhoods, parks, and businesses through well-planned, beautiful green spaces helps people of all ages stay active and healthy.
Transforming underutilized office parks into mixed use residential - with parks and sidewalks- will protect greenspaces, add tax revenue, address overdevelopment and help bring in new parks in a cost effective way.
